WOW Keeping Beta Characters : World of Warcraft General Discussions

I thought this was a good one to get out, as I have seen many people wonder about this. Have a listen to what Nethaera from Blizzard had to say about if those who are playing the beta will get to keep their chars...

No, I'm sorry but that won't be possible. I'm sure many people would be even more upset about people having an advantage over them than they do now just knowing there are people with access to beta when they don't. It also is far better for everyone to start off on the same foot for the health of the game. What would the people that are level 70 do without other 70s to do things with? What if they are the only few 70s on their realm?

Besides, I'm sure there are many things that have changed in some areas that players may not want to pass up and keeping a beta character would mean they would in fact pass up those things without ever experiencing them.
