Is this even possible? : World of Warcraft General Discussions

I just "stumbled" onto this site selling a program that will supposedly change all your stats to 10,000.

It claims that bufs/spell system is run and calculated client side, so that is why they can change it. Also this is supposed to be working since 23 Jan 07. He shows a vid where he does up to 8000 dammage per shot, but no way to know if it's an official server or not.

Can anyone shed some light if this is even remotely possible.

Dude i think i saw this post again and i posted in that topic 2 that this site shows a vid where that guy is playing ona private SERVER and on those servers everything is prossible, trust me, i was a ADMIN on 1 of those, and u could change everything from scale to model and speed and stats. Or he could just be using a custom weapon on the same private server

this was like really, really long time ago but it does work, my RL friend did it, it costs some money u can get banned, but JUST DONT USE IT IN A MAJOR CITY or a town or an instance, grinding in a desolate place ( not desolace lol ) its great

It was possible on the test server, the one where Naxxramas was introduced (1.9?)

The bug was that you would equip all of your best gear, then die so many times to where all your gear was red, then you would have to replace every slot with OTHER gear (usually grey gear like the twill set, anything works) then click "repair all" and re-equip your gear, voila.... 2x the stats. Do it again, 4x the stats, then 8x, etc etc. (Don't remember the exact method, just remember witnessing and hearing about it, it got fixed before I could try it out)

That's how people downed Naxx so quickly on the PTR (well, the asians anyways)

Lots of fun bugs in the 1.9 patch server, you could easily achieve god mode.

u dont need a program for this, just go into the data folder and click on the items script by opening it with notepad or micr. word, it should be self explanatory from there, but im not sure if it works. i'm too much of a pussy to try =X

I don't think it'd be possible regardless of stats considering the size of Azeroth. You couldn't move from place to place fast enough to gain the levels. If you somehow could get to an AoE hotspot in OUTLAND you maybe able to do it faster than the record currently. But even the first level 70 had an entire GUILD help him get to 70 and that took 28 hours.

It's impossible maybe on 48 hrs...

if all that was done on public servers then WoW would ban u in an instant but more then likely its all done on Private servers so wow basically doesnt no about it
