Wheres there a good place to farm gold for a lvl 70 mage? : World of Warcraft General Discussions

I need about 5700gold for my epic flying mount does anyone know where i can farm so i can get it fast...btw i dont have a regular gryphon so i cant cant go anywhere real high if u ya know what i mean...can anyone help me?

1. What are your professions ?
If u have a gathering skill such as Herb, Mining or Skinning Just keep selling your mats and also you may wanna get the MetaMap addon for wow if your planning on making money with Herb Mining.. Skinning in some cases..

another good place to farm is in legion hold tons of mobs and u make a ton of money selling marks and fel armaments on 2-3days i have already been able to buy my mats for spellfire gloves and belt

for a mage you can farm alot of things other classes cant. cuz u can aoe alot of mobs at the same time. go to hellfire and aoe the !@#$%^&* of the mobs in the pathway. you can get alot of netherweave cloth a stack can besold for 4g. dont worry if some newbs puted some for 2-3g. one person can buy em all and still need waay more. they are heavely needed for tailoring /first aid so they will be sold very fast.

In my opinion, Skettis (south east terrokar), is a great place to farm the elemental waters, and do some quests for the faction that you get the Nether Ray (epic flying mount) from. It usually isnt that crowded and you can occasionally run into somebody that isnt a jerk on the opposing faction (a priest mind controlled me then buffed me yesterday then let me go).

Although you do need a flying mount to get there. You can easily remake the money in a day or two if you dont already have them. Primal Waters go for about 30g per on my server, the elementals drop 1-3 about 50% of the time. And there are humanoids for your quests up there(which also give lots of cash) and they drop netherweave cloth too, you can sel that for a descent price.

If you dont want to do that, you can also solo AOE farm Black Morass (2nd Cavern of Time instance) and sell the Netherweb Spider silk (40%ish drop rate) for a few G a piece.

My exp with a 70 mage for farming the best ways are to either a) aoe farm for netherweave on lower mobs (as was said) b) farm the eels just outside shat for motes of water - primal waters, only real way for you to farm primal water if your frost specced btw. c) farm primal fires in shadowmoon from the fire elementals (if your not fire specced) or farm primal manas from the Mana Seekers and Mage hunters in Netherstorm, just south from Cosmowrench in the abandoned town there, they're worth less than primal fire, air, water, but drop more and the mobs are easier, so works out even more cash than the other primals i reckon so far.

Anyone who farms now days should definatly take advantage of daily quests. You can make a guaranteed 110 gold per day for doing 10 simple quests. Epic flying is required for the netherwing quests, which are located in shadowmoon on netherwing ledge of course, and once exaulted there are 9 or 10 quests availiable from them. Also in blades edge mountain there is an area called ogre'la which has 4 daily quests combined with the skywing who are there also. One other good place is Skettis who are in the mountains in terrokar forest. there are two daily quests there at honored that I know of and both are very simple. Right now at exaulted netherwing, I do the 4 daily quests from blades edge, the two in Skettis, and 4 from netherwing because some of the netherwing quests are a pain. In under an hours time i can make around 120 gold from doing very simple quests, which are repeatable everyday. on a days average i could make up to 200-400 gold with little effort, by doing daily quests, mining ore <having> and making at least one primal might per day<if it procs then i could make upwards of 490 gold from primal might alone <selling for 90-110 gold on korgath horde.

I dunno y ppl dont recognize this place but the black temple in shadowmoon valley is a GREAT place to farm, ive farmed arround 1000g in a single day in there... Im not kidding... Let me tell you why it's the best place to farm in my opinion... Mobs have 5-6k hp, they drop alot of silver, they drop ALOT of netherweave cloth, they drop sunfury signets every other mob (which sell for 1g each), they also drop arcane tomes (which sell for 10-15g). They also have a good drop rate of greens and they drop alot of vendor stuff... Definately my favorite farming spot.

You should also do daily quests with skywing, ogri'la and the netherwing if you can. Netherwing require an epic flyer though...
