WOW - EA Puts Stake in The9 : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Here is something interesting that was sent in to us today. It seems EA has purchased 19% share stake in the Chinese only gamer operator The9, which runs World of Warcraft for those in that area. Reuters reports, "A deal would potentially give The9 -- which offers Blizzard Entertainment's wildly popular "World of Warcraft" online game in China -- rights to run more sports-themed casual games from EA, the paper quoted industry insiders as saying."
