WOW - Anti-Twink System : World of Warcraft General Discussions

This "anti-twink" system should be in place in patch 2.1.

I do not like calling it an "anti-twink" system, because it was never meant to be such a system. It is a system where twinks get paired up with other twinks and where more regular PvPers get paired up with other players like themselves. This should even things out somewhat and hopefully make the battlegrounds fun again for those players, who got discourages from playing them, because of too much twink-pwnage that sucked away all the fun.

Lots of players find it fun to twink their characters, and they have spent lots of time and resources to gear up, tweak and buff their low level characters as much as possible in order to maximize their efficiency. The people who enjoy twinking will still be able to do so as much as they want, however instead of playing against normally geared players, they will get to play against other players who are like themselves.
