xunleashed crash : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

ok xunleashed still crash for me even after the eq2 service was updated, tested on a xp computer... started UBMakePath and the sctript started nice, made some waypoints, after 2min xunleashed just was gone from eq2, the xunleashed client was saying

'you must login first
Error, unknown protocol used, reporting'

then after 2-3min it login again and the same thing over again...

have i done something wrong ?

You know, I am experiencing the exact issue with the UltraBot script! I believe it is XUnleashed related since there does not seem to be any changes made to my UltraBot scripts. I get the same error message about (after a couple minutes of working):

'you must login first
Error, unknown protocol used, reporting'

wait did you see the XUnleashed FAQ for the fix and that one didnt work?

checked faqs and reading around but no luck also tested to play in windowed mode but no luck there either. im running on a intel core2 machine with xp sp2 if that would help, what fix are you talking about ? got all scripts i want to working nowso now i only need to get the logout error fixed so i can start using all.

what hardware are you using ? maybe can be help

Mobile AMD Athlon 64 3400+
Windows XP Media Center
1GB ram
ATI Radeon Xpress 200M Series

I am using wireless for internet connection. Also use NOD32 antivirus.

I never used it before and everything worked. Do you think that is it? The other guy with the same problem doesn't have an AMD does he?

Where is the real AMD patch located? The search function returns too many matches.

I found and installed the AMD patch after adding the radar and it didn't resolve the issue. I still have the same issue. XUnleashed closes and this error is in XUnleashed (see screenshot). Same error I keep getting.

You know what I found which is even stranger?

If I just sit in game and wait (I actually minimized the game and was browsing through XUnleashed), XUnleashed will eventually launch again (start working in game) and just continue like nothing happened but unfortunately disappear in a couple minutes again. It is like XUnleashed loses connection to something someplace and then reconnects and tries to continue. I tried fiddling around with settings. I am convinced it is a bug of some sort we are experiencing.

Are you playing via wireless connection?

yea i have notice that too, it comes back after like 5-6min... and i use cables, no wireless... i have tried the new radar, works great dont get kicked or anything, if it had been my internet connection then i should been kicked out there too... damn i want this to get working

Hmm, so other scripts work fine? Then it must be related to something UltraBot performs using the EQ2Service Scripting Plugin? You think?Maybe there is a value getting called from the EQ2Service Scripting Plugin which UltraBot uses and it is causes the crash?

Could you post your current UltraBot ini? Maybe we can find something in common between them?
