First, go to the shadowlands where the katarn is and go to this waypoint 166 69 once there (be sure to kill the little katarns first) start attacking the katarn from the waypoint and it should get stuck and can't attack you. Happy hunting .


It works make sure your not melee and be dumb and run towards it to attack it.
Unless they nerfed it overnight.

right when i went to the exact WP i knew this was gonna work, anyone playing long enough knows the mechanics of things like this.

i never cared for kashykkk so never completed the quest, just happened to be doing katarn today and remebered seeing this post. so i logged in here got wp, went there, and it worked perfectly - no damage at all to me.

just type /waypoint 166 69 then go stand there and shoot - its is that easy...

Didnt work for me, I think it was because the katarn was pacing?

Make sure you don't agro the Katarn until you're already in position. I had no problems with this.
