Emulation of the Current Build? : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

Do you think it's possible to make an emulation of the current build of Star Wars Galaxies? Only reason I ask is I no longer want to pay the outrageous subscription fee for something I only play casually now. Would much rather play it for free on server that might possibly develop better than official servers. Say for instance the private server GMs actually listened to it's players and put in some really cool features.

Anyway just a thought. I know there's the SWGEmu, but I don't know that I really like the old system anymore. I tried getting back into it, but it was either really buggy or really hard. I don't remember it being that hard. Who knows.
