The papers say there are 2 different decisions. One decision is suspended during the appeals, the other is not. Basically, Glider is not allowed to sell at all right now - which means it also cannot run. The other decision allows them to sell, but since the prior one does not... they are crap out of luck. However they are asking the judge to give them a clearer understanding of what he means by it.

Additional notes... Mercury is not allowed to have the authentication server up, not allowed to advertise, not allowed to do anything which would interfere with WoW, even for other bots. From what I read, he can't even sell the source code, though it does not specifically say that.

He could make it work for another game, however doing so would infringe on the rights of other games, and he could later not claim ignorance of the DMCA, thus causing some other problems later on.

GOOD! It's about time! Thousands of people lost their accounts in each of the WoW crackdowns on glider users. Mercury always claimed that he had been botting without a problem and was never caught.

If that was true, then he was not sharing necessary info with his subscribers that would have prevented them from getting banned. This would mean he was negligent!

More likely, he was simply denying the truth that he had indeed been banned, but he claimed he had not in order to sell more subscriptions to Glider. This would mean he was liar!

Either way, I'm glad he's gone!
