Punting mobs off of Cliffs (BUG) : Darkfall Online - Submissions

Didn't see this posted but, if you punt a mob off of a cliff and then their pathing gets messed up and the just stand there you can usually go behind them and hit them, or just spam mana missiles or arrows at them.

I have made a huge amount of gold of this. There are a few locations near alfar territory.

This actualy works on many mobs, key to make it work often is to have the one that does the knockback have initial agro and make him stay where he knockbacked the mob. (if he jumps down to his mates he totaly unbugg the mob)

Mob will most of time face the knockback guy and leave back open for other attackers. Also he most of the time stand somwhat still.

If mob suddenly awaken all need to stop make dmg except the initial agro knockback guy. Few mana missiles often fixes it.

Tho sidenote, if u have problem getting this to work try avoid polearms/arrows due the knockback seems often to unbugg the mobs.

Has anyone tried using knockback to put mobs in deep water? Does their AI shut down or do they swim back to shore?

Yes this works, if you punt them into most watter dont have to be that deep they will bug out and just stand there and you can melee them

hmmm most mobs that get punted into water disappear-- how do you make them not disappear?

Looks like nerfed now with the big patch. Now you can barely KB the mobs at all.
