Soloing Golems : Darkfall Online - Submissions

You can solo farm Golems with greatswords, polearms, bows, and some magical spells.

All you have to do is engage the Golem in melee combat, and backup to the max range of the greatsword or polearm. The Golem will swing and miss constantly. Sometimes his will turn or strafe, and hit you once or twice, but you just have to take a step back or forward to find the "sweet spot" again.

This exploit seems to work best when the person with agro is using a Greatsword or polearm as the reach is far enough to stay in the sweet spot. Have fun while it lasts.

Confirmed list of Golems that I have access too that this works on.

True bout the drops.

Haven't tested this myself, but I have pked people who were doing it, and I kinda figured it out, now I know for sure.

So /yay from me on the account that it wasn't posted in these forums. Even if something is "common knowledge" that doesn't mean it shouldn't be posted here, who knows if someone is missing out.

What you guys consider common knowledge is not common. This is new to me and this website. If it were common then you should have posted it here.

Ok then let me add to this, since it is not as common as I thought.

It seems that this bug is not neccessarily limited to Golems, but to Huge Humanoid Mobs. Prolly using the same base skeleton to vuild the animations on.
Baradron bug (though I never used it) seems to work the same way.

So whenever you find a huge !@#$%^&* Humanoid Mob just walk up to it´s face and start bashing and see if it manages to hit you more then once every X swings.

Tried that last night with some giant and it killed the shits out of me

you just have to continue to take small steps backwards from it. You can hit them usually with anything. I solo all golems with 1hd sword.

Look at The Mercs, they know how to Exploit. I think soon they can´t even bank anymore gold into their banks. Fiulthy rich guild.
