Almost infinite Relics : LOTRO - Submissions

For infinite relics repeat following steps:

1) Get a LI THIRD AGE for your class

2) level it to lvl 51

3) deconstruct it at a relic master (dont forget forging at lvl 10, 20, 30, 40, 50!!!)

4) use the resulting item-xp (1,4 million, 1,25 million, 800k or 550k) for another THIRD age item. Resulting in a level of 52-60 for the new LI. repeat 3).

5) if you happen to get the 550k item-xp (resulting in lvl 46-48 of the LI), just level it up a bit to 51.

Each time you deconstruct the LI, you get a LOT of T4 - T1 relics. Combining these is a bit expensive, but results in T8-T9 relices in ~30 minutes.
You just have to have enough LI's ready for deconstructing.

This bug showed up with SoM first, because Turbine did not change loottable for deconstructing LI, bur lowered needed Item-xp by a vast ammount. Not really known on my server.

I have been doing this for a while, but leveling LIs to 60. Stupid me, didnt realize lvl 51 loot table its the same as the level 60

Its working for <61 LIs
Have to check lvl 61+ items, not sure if it works

Well known on both EU and US official forums and it isn't really an exploit. You could do this before SoM though the items would be a bit lower level (so a bit of levelling was needed).

Not really. At least not on European/German Servers. I'm reading the german forum very reguarly, on a daily basis. Never saw it mentioned.

And read carefully: by deconstructing a lvl 51 LI you can get enough xp to lvl the next LI to 60.
Def. not working as intended.
If you did this prior SoM, you wasted a lot of item-xp. When deconstructing a lvl 50 item with MoM, you had your next LI on lvl ~29, with more than 2 million item-xp to go to lvl 50 and the lvl 50 loottable.
Now its almost instant.

to me, it is well known, I'd been doing it since shortly after SoM came out and I deconned a lvl 60 and boom, had another level 60 from the rune. Deconned 15 in a row before I got a rune that did not max it out. I personally think it is better to use it on the 2nd age as you not only get the relics, but a new LI rune as well. Makes levelling your new weapons a LOT faster.

2nd age takes 400k more ixp to reach lvl 50 (+20k per lvl starting from lvl30)
Tried it on 61+ item - not working. Got 38k rune from decon.

true, but I am not hurting for relics where I am hurting for IXP on new items.

I'm gonna give it a try tonight. I know when I decon'd my lvl 60 stuff I got back nice IXP balls but I'm gonna have to see if I can chain some together. I have about 40 tablets to play with so if it works maybe I'll have some nice tier 8 and 9 relics.

I have used this trick since Mirkwood, like another I have been leveling to 60, you get runes from 550K-1.5Mil. The 880 will put you near 51 where you can decon and get another. The runes stack up fast this way, I always have a weapon near 51 when questing.

Well, I play on the EU servers and in the server I play on, a lot of people know it. It's even been told around in public channels (and no bans followed to the persons spreading afaik)
And everyone should know that turbine is lazy when it comes to updating stuff that needs updating

yep I have done it myself works just fine till you get a low ixp ball on reforege

in this case (LI chould be around 48 or something) just level it up to 51. The daily instances in moria are perfect for that.
Once your LI is 51 again (because 51 has a different loottable than 50), continue your decon-festival.
