Illegal operations errors : Myth of Soma - Discussion

After running the program successfully in Soma yesterday, I find now everytime I load it up it.

1.Doesnt load up with XU in the top left hand corner.

2. Jumps back to desktop

3. Loads up with XU in top left hand corner. Then when going to character selection it dissapears.

4. After the above Soma shuts down and I get all different errors. Saying its done an illegal operation and will shut down.

Any help please?

I have tried re downloading and it makes no difference.

Soma works fine until I run XU then I get the errors and my PC locks up.

Ok heres the deal now.

Sometimes XU works and I can use the record and repeat macro.

But then all of a sudden XU vanishes from the top corner and soma stays on.

Now if i quit game then the error comes up, PC locks and I have to restart PC.

Erm, try reinstalling soma or something ^^;

Nothing wrong with Soma it runs fine.

Its XU as sometimes it works but then it shuts down and causes the errors.

Or it just doesnt work at all.

Come on guys, What can i do?

It can be any number of things. Usually, it is a problem with the users's system operating system that has gotten corrupted, but lets say its not that for now.

Things you can try.

1. Update video Drivers
2. Uncheck the tcpip packet sniffer plugin
3. Remove the Reghandler plugin if it is there
4. Try with/without alternate hooking
5. Do not use anti-detection

What OS are you using?

Have you done all latest windows updates and optional packages insatlled?

Im using windows 98, I have updated them and it still doesnt work.

I load soma through XU and XU just turns off and causes errors.

It worked fine until i downloaded the crafting macros off your download page.

Typical I finally work out how to use the macro from a couple of posts on here and then it screws up.

At this point, I would suggest you upgrade to WinXP.

Or wait, it works, but some macros dont work?

Try to record your own macro and play it back.

No it worked until i downloaded a weapon crafting macro from here.

Now everytime i run XU it errors and PC locks/freezes even if i run DX9 test etc
