Colored Dot Opponent Level Identification
The PvE level system is a depicted by colored dots in the targeted characters information bar. The dot rating system works by comparing the level of the targeted character to your characters level. The more dots a targeted character has the higher the level. There is also an information bar that displays the characters class.

0 dots = -2 or less levels than you
1 dot = -1 levels than you
2 dots = Same level as you
3 dots = 1 level higher than you
4 dots = 2 levels higher than you
5 dots = 3 levels higher than you
6 dots = 4 levels higher than you
Blue Circle = More than 6 levels higher

The class information bar displays the characters race for a Player character, such as Accretian or Bellato, and it displays the creatures dificulty for NPC Mobs (Monsters). There are 3 levels of difficulty for NPC Mobs; Normal, ACE, and Pit Boss.

Normal Mobs
Normal Mobs are the garden variety type and will fulfill many quests as you level up. Depending on the level, they will give different amounts of XP and Skill PT for each successful hit and each successful kill. When leveling Skill PT, hunt normal mobs with 5 dots to get maximum return on each successful hit, hunting lower will give less PT, and hunting higher will not give anymore PT. The higher the mob the more XP that will be returned. There is no cap on this like there is on PT.

ACE Mobs
ACE Mobs are useful for partying and leveling up XP. ACE mobs will give XP for each succesful hit, and a large XP bonus for each succesful kill. If you are in a party, you will gain xp each time yout hit the ACE mob and each member in the party will get the bonus regardless of who makes the killing blow. An ACE mob will not give Skill PT points unless you can damage it significantly with each successful hit. ACE Mobs will however raise Defense PT and Shield PT.

Pit Bosses are hunted in large parties to be effective. Leveling both XP and Skill PT follows the same rules as ACE mobs.
