Im a former L2 gamer bla bla bla, and ive started to play RYL...

Funny game, nice with so many drops, graphics = ok... BUT to me, at this
point - its all about hack' and slash

Is there really some decent quests out there ??? And what about a kind of lore [ story ] ??

Any information you can tell me will be greatly appreciated..

To answere you question I'll start with the hack and slash part. Yes the game is mostly about hack and slash, however it is a lot better than the autto attack in games like EQ because you are actually having to do something in order to lvl up. In other words it takes some of the monotony out of the lvling (press a and auto attack untill it's dead).

To answere the part about the quests I'll post a direct quote from one of the game mods(this is the entire post labled "New Update Soon!")

I'm happy to announce that the new version will be out soon... should be next week if everything goes well. Here are the latest updates for the coming version.

It was posted Friday Jun 18, 2004 and the update is supposed to be realease in a few weeks. Not exactly sure on the time frame tho. Hopefully it will be realeased soon...(Lets keep our fingers crossed)

RYL also has that arena everyone should know about. it's fun place to check out your PvP skills, althoug my comp lags so bad i just see that a mage killed me and my character falls to the ground dead... but yes, also the boss raids.

Yes it does have an arena for pvp. However, it is recomended that you be at least lvl 30 before you fight in the arena. I would recomend lvl 40+ before you go in to fight there. It's a hard place to fight, and the humans don't stand a chance against Ak'han.
