Their robes are usually the best....? With a perfect saber and food boosts...? As you lvl, your robe gets better and better. Stick with it.

Actually Old Republic Saber is just as good as a First Generation Saber. Currently output damage is not based on the weapon's dmg but rather on the characters level. SOE has stated they are going to fix this.

um i dont know what your smoking, but the weapon AUGMENTS your Character attack, the old republic saber holds an extra pearl, and there is NO WAY it is even compareable to a 1st gen saber. you use your first gen, i'll use my old republic, we'll duel with no clothes or items or buffs, and i'll enjoy the new pvp points from your death

The pvp part was unnessary on proving your point and will only result in a flame war.

However, please read the forums if you do not believe me. It is stated several times by Thunderheart. Dmg is based on the characters level in turn is followed by the weapons CL

Weapon Combat level and then Damage(max+min)/2 affect your overall damage. However, weapon damage does not have that much of an effect.

First, Im not gonna argue over forums and stoop down to that level. The facts are there, its up too you now.

Owifua: Lava crystal add elemental damage, fire I believe. Just as Kenobi's Legacy (my greatest possession in-game) gives cold elemental dmg. Normal crystal gives this damage too but based on the color of the crystal will result in what element you get. However, the named color crystal slightly more elemental dmg then normal color crystals

It is rather tough getting your hands on these named crystals though. I believe their are 20 within the coding of the game but only 5 available to the public as of now. I think its only a matter of content/time til they add the other 15. The ones you can currently get are:

Bane's Heart - Nk Necrosis
Kenobi's Legacy - One of the two color crystal rewards for Elder Jedi
Sunrider's Destiny - Phase 3 village reward, Village gone but people still sell the crystal.
B'nars sacrifice - Another Elder Jedi reward
Lava Crystal - Cube Recipe

Pictures of each crystal can be found in the link below. I believe what the guy did was use a mod to see each crystal color in-game. Then again it could be photoshopping.

Lol.. You guys use your sabers, I'll fight you both with my 1337 photoshop jedi that wields two sabers at once. How ya like dem apples?

(Not really)

I like the named crystals, and have all five =/ I also have a saber for each, and if you know how, you can easily kill another jedi, regardless of saber skills.... especially at low lvls.

Also, at low lvls, summon a droid w/ combat skills, park it somewhere, duel someone a few lvls above you, but below the droid, then sic the droid on em while you fight. Even if they knock you out, they turn to fight the droid.... heal and jump back on em, spamming droid attack while they are unconcious, so that the droid jumps on the person as soon as they stand.

Dunno if that will still work since now droids will store in your datapad once they are killed. They wont auto-heal and be invincible like before :D
