Hi i recently came back to the game and I created a character on a brand new server now i am wondering if that char will be able to quest for the elder jedi robe ?

also where do you get the level 60 jedi robes i have been told a lot of different things on the server i am on one is force sencatives in dant the other nightsisters but at level 61 i am dog food and the other is the warren witch is a lie just need help here please.

Well many of the Elder Jedi I know have started wearing Master Cloaks, so they can wear 4 stat clothing and backpacks along with it.

I believe the Elder Robe is mostly a status symbol. Its unlikely there will be a quest for one, anytime soon.

After the trader revamp its most likely the looted Jedi items can be Reverse Engineered, which may bring the close up that 800 kin/en protection that the Elder Robe provides.

Level 60 Robes you can supposedly get from any NPC between level 60-80. I factional NPC, Geo Caves and Janta on Dant. There would be many more.

Robe Question
You should try out Kasshyk. specifically the poachers on the worshyyr canopy. thats where i looted my level 60 acolyte robe. Elder robes are for people that completed their padawan trials before the NGE hit over a year ago. If you did, check your journal for the obiwan quest. That quest will lead you to get your elder robe as well as the bnarr sacrifice/obiwan crystal. If you dont get an elder robe, dont worry. grind up your toon and save some credits. you'll need them to buy a Master Jedi Cloak. Since your new to the game and low level right now, its going to be tough to join a HK group and even tougher to claim the robe whence it drops. Jedi Master CLoak is a CL80 or 88 robe so itll be a while until you get it.

Grinding Question
If you want to grind up quickly, you should respec to a BH, get some good kinetic armor and go out to NorthWest dantooine and kite CL 80 grauls. you can kite grauls as a jedi, but as a BH itll go much quicker with your array of snares and traps..
