I just resigned from rebel faction, but of course, don't have faction points to join the imperials, but since I'm nuetral, I can't kill rebs to get imp. faction..

I tried going to kessel and shooting up some rebs, but didn't get any faction points there either.

Is there a way for me to get Imp. faction, without resigning my neutral ace pilot to become Imp?

take missions from a factional terminal, you can grind out of the -5k in no time.

Negative faction won't matter now. I joined the Rebels with -5000 Rebel faction after being Imperial for the last 42+ months. All you need to do now is either wait for 5 days and talk to the recruiter to join the other faction OR drop pilot and talk to the pilot trainer in the faction you want to join.
