Idea about leveling in NGE... My concept. : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

What if you didn't pick a class. What if like in space you did missions to earn xp in a certain field and to train.... Then after you mastered jedi for example you could invest the time in learning spy. All the while earning xp in bounty hunter... like in real life... you do something you gain xp in it. Also... stop diabling items. I hate paying 200k for an item and a week later it is a paperweight. Disable the item from being created and then if someone places an auction for one have the computer system automaticly buy it. That way the items work there way out of circulation slowly but surley.

well, if youve been playing for any decent time you wouldve heard about CU or Pre-Cu where you had a similar concept. you had a certain amount of skill points that you would spend on any profession you want.

they got rid of this (used to be 32 profession) and replaced it where you can only work your way up in 1.

lol you think 200k for disabled item is bad?

try 15 mill for 3 nym slug throwers, 10 mill for 5 proton carbines. another 7 mill for good BH armor which disappeared in the NGE conversion. plus over 20 mill in skill tapes that are useless now.

they arent going back to CU or Pre-CU and theyve already stated that, no matter how much support a roll back got on the forums

Yeah I hate how they disabled a bunch of our heavy weaponry. I have a bunch of kick a** heavy weapons and would be awesome for PvP, but they are disabled, go figure. Anyway, you do have a point about XP. It should be realistic. If we want to spend the time to master EVERY profession, why can't we?
