Is this game worth it? : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

I have been switching from mmorpg to mmorpg, and I was wondering, is this one a good one?

Ive been playing it for about 8 months now and if u ignore the large amounts of lag in player cities and think about what u can get out of the game, its actually quite good imo.

Even though it does cost a fair bit a month, its totally worth it. With the new CU i have mastered many professions and it has gone more to group hunting because as we all know hunting solo is abit of a drag sometimes

How much does this game cost and about how many hours a week do you need to play??

well it normally costs about £20 for the whole game and a further £10 a month.

People recommend u play several hours a day but i dont, i prob play 1 - 2 hours a day but i can still do as much as most people.

Better to buy The Total Experience if you are going to play, gives all 3 SWG games in one.

this game is great for a challange, if you have a laught and meet people, and also the fun of quests and bages and grinding your proff's up i been playing since the game began i currenly are mayor of a well know city on the farstar server, and have a full template jedi the choices are endlesss in this game, tho it can be frustrateing at times, you will enjoy the challanges faced to you , 2yrs playing now, and i have managed to get all the best stuff avaliable jetpack,mayor of major city, and a full template jedi, its always updateing and its fun......thats enought form me..... also if you do get it yes get the total experience pack , better value, and u have full package then

You are right about buying The "Total Experiance" because if you bought all the games by themselves they would cost around $55.00(American). But if you buy the total experiance then you get all the games and some bounus stuff like the BARC speeder or the new creatures.for about $25.00(American)

This game is only worth the price if you really like starwars and computer games a lot. I play a lot of games and i play a long time but I also read all the starwars books and information that I can because im a starwars fan. This game is definitly better then Rune Scape but it is about 4 times the cost.
