Actually it does. Also, when you're at the junk dealer, it'll sometimes increase the amount of credits he gives you for certain items. Luck also works in space(damage and loot).
It's best to gear up in all luck items when you're going into space.

well, the "Luck" mod is nothing new in MMO's/Online Games.

Both UO and D2 have "Luck" mods to inc better drops.

so, it's normal that the "Luck" mode is in SWG aswell.

finaly someone agrees with me on this =P i told my freinds that and they didnt belive me altho i always got better loot then them HA! i win lol

Luck doesnt give you better loot on the ground.

It may in space, i dont know. On the ground NO.

Though it will increase your critical hits and it will give you a chance at getting more money from the Junk dealers.
