Question about a rumor I heard : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

Recently one of my good friends was ban and SOE wont even talk about giving his account back, in vent however a guy told me that if you purchase a station acess, then go to the station website, you can transfer the characters off of the account onto a new one, does anyone know if this is true?

what would be the point in banning them if they could do that??

I'd say it's not true.

You can however transfer characters off of an active account to another account, my suggestion would be too offer yourself as a volunteer GM, then either use that to unban your account, or use it as a good deed that would make SOE consider letting him have the account back.

Or you could just make a new account and farm 23/7 (23 because of server downtime), after about a month you'd have over 1 bill, should be enough to buy you a suit, the hollo's heroic jewlarry etc, but this way you can't get back all that pointless !@#$%^&* from events and such.

New account and afk grinding kashyyyk = best bet.
