Star Wars Galaxies servers are restarted on a regular basis. The current schedule is:

    * Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 4 AM PDT

Normal restarts can take as much as 2 hours to complete.

When maintenance or a game update is scheduled to be deployed, all servers (US and European) will be brought down at the same time.
