taking 6 min login toon in station? : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

Anyone tell me why it takes me 6 minutes everytime to log my charactor into SWG. Its been like this for 6 months its like everytime i login its doing full system scan automatic.

You seem to have a lot of problems with your system.

Is it doing a fullscan when you launch the launchpad, or is it just taking a long time to do the short update scan?

When was the last time you did a defrag and a virus scan?

Well, is the full system scan in the launchpad? If yes, you cna turn it off by unticking a checkbox somewhere after youve logged in.

My system is totally virus free and also is defragged. And the full scan is disabled and still does it.

I had this problem before, uninstall the game and re-install it. Should be fine after that. (Oh and save your chars profile folder in another location)

yeah i would just uninstall then reinstall the game or clean out some files on your pc
