Recently I found this screenie. The owner says it was obtained through an exploit that somehow involves the Avatar platform. Any ideas on how it was done? Someone else told me they got a carbine the same way, but no one is saying how. They all seem to agree it is a bannable offense, but I still would like to know how. Also, the weapon spped seems odd as it is 2 instead of 1.

When the Avatar is blowing up, you can simply /loot the NPC weapons if you hit them before they are 'deathblowed' by the fire... it's more of a bug, than an exploit... I have a ton hidden away in storage.

Yeah, but doesn't it reset to normal stats when the server resets?

I'm pretty sure that these Avatar Weapons reset soon after you equip them or after you log out. Beware as people will try to sell them for millions and the buyer gets screwed over.

So, I am to understand these only drop after the self destruct countdown is started. I am mostly looking to loot one in the morning then spend the day playing with it. I know they do not last. But, it would surely be funny for a day.

Ya i did this exploit. Very fun in PvP for the day. But not worth the work for it.
