70m Range Pistol : SWG Premium Discussions

Ok well I don't know if this would be declared as an exploit but its a cool trick. First you need the old Black Hand Anihlator Pistol looted from Kasshyk with 60m range. If you are a BH you need to get Deadly Strikes in expertise, it is in the Carbine/Pistol tree. For those who do not know deadly strikes grants a 10% critical bonus and 10m to range while using carbines or pistols. Well there you have it I am a BH so I am not aware of any other proffesion that grants you anything similar to this extra range.

Can that pistol be remade and still have the 60m range?

Uh I am not sure you would have to ask a weaponsmith or "munitions" whatever they are called nowa days. But I would not reccomend trying it without finding out first because these pistols can go for quite a bit of money, at least where I am from.

IF this pistol is deconstructed and remade the RANGE will be 35. Only the old style is 60M and with the BH pistol/carb line i would yay it on the 70M, though i havent tried it

Nay - everything caps at 64m range.

Nay - There's no way to achieve anything greater than the pre-set range. This is the same thing with Smugglers who get a range bonus, and Officers.

YAY, i have a blackhand annhilator looted yrs ago, range on the pistol is 65m and while it can be deconstructed, if it is the range reverts back to the normal 35m range.

My officer can do any and all specials from 65m range when wearing this pistol.

So the "trick" really boils down to using a prenerf blackhand annihilator. Old news.

Deconstructed these pistols revert back to 35m.
