you'll find that these afk ents are in fact alts of another player that is running 2 or more accounts at the same time, so when a buff is needed, he or she will swap over to the ent account, give the buff and switch back...

well... i think that the OP can see the difference between players who switch to their chars when buff is needed and afk buff bots.

there are no buff bot scripts posted on this side but it wouldnt be that hard to make one..

if some of the script makers that use the color finding function thing it would probably even be possible to program different buffs and if you send the bot a tell like " ___________" you get buff A and if you send "------------" you get buff B.

just an idea for anyone who wants to make such a script :P

I made one. It has no color check function for different buffs but still it's a beginning :)

I'm sorry but this buff bot is buffing people 24/7.. i kid you not.. you sit in the chair at max, buff window pops up , your buff is already selected, and it's done so fast. I doubt a real player could click on the buffs really fast , doing it at 3AM-to when the servers come back up.

Buff Bots are NOT dual logged, as you need a seperate computer to run this with. And they do exist, and I believe Auto-IT has a script for it, which I am looking for. We have about 15 auto-bots on our server, and basically you just sit in a chair and it will cycle thru different buffs that the owner program'd in. Very nice to have, and am looking to get this info.

Ummm say what? Since when do you need 2 computers to dual log accounts? I do it all the time. I've had buff bots that were always dual log. Most buff bots I see are in fact dual logged accounts.

An entertainer buff-bot could easily be done using a macro, and a script. However, the buff would have to be a pre-defined buff.

If I wanted to throw together a quick and dirty setup, this is what I would do (off the top of my head, could probably be done better).

1) Send an invite to the entertainer, auto-accept invites turn on (if that exists, otherwise a /join macro).

2) The entertainer targets group member #1, and executes /inspire.

3) The script detects a pixel color change (the buff window open), and clicks the appropriate buffs, followed by 'accept'.

4) At this point the entertainer either moves on to target the other group members for buffs, or the script does /disband, followed by hitting 'enter'. Your choice.

Notes: Certainly there would be small things to account for, and work around, but it could be done smoothly. You would have to watch or listen to the entertainer until you are ready for the buff, before inviting them to group.
