You can if you have a city, place the item into the city hall then have your alt or another person run for mayor. When they take over the city hall its yours. Just make sure you have at least 5 players in the city at all times so it doesnt poof. I do this all the time

This was NERFED like 2 years ago!!

I did this like less than 6 months ago, worked perfectly fine. Traded some of the imperial house signs

Eh I don't believe that. This was Nerfed a very very long time ago. I tested it every way I could with my city.

Tried it recently myself, didn't work.

Yea this was nerfed more than two years ago - I used to sell SE goggles this way but im pretty sure it quit during the CU. Seem to remember the items that were dropped ending up with out an owner after the city hall changed hands so neither party could pick it up.

The reason it got nerfed was people were trading level 90 respec kits. The one that looks like junk loot. You could trade it in a city hall new level mayor picks up the device respec to any combat prof and would be 90.
