Recently i've noticed in the combat log that some people are able to make the Cybernetic shock arm fire 6-7 times in one hit.

Can anybody tell me how this is done? i've tried to figure it out myself but with no success

I've heard that this occurance is more 'random' then it is an exploit, where the proc buff is sticking to the character more then once

It's achieved by using the pre-cu cybernetic arm.

These are identifiable as being ALL silver (no blue/green patches) and they state a 15% chance to effect.

Before you go spending your money on something you find on a vendor, they WILL reset themselves once you buy it (says 15% when viewing details, then says 'chance' once in your inventory.

If you find someone that has one in their inventory, then that can be transferred safely at the moment.

The reason they work that way is because they were coded for a very different combat timing system (pre-cu) and somehow slipped through unnoticed.

I'm sure they will be fixed soon though.

There is something else to this too..

I have a NGE cyberarm on my char and there have been times when I have seen Cyber Shocks on pretty much every other hit, sometimes 2 or 3 in a row.

If I log on fresh it will take a while for it to fire once.

I think there is definitely something exploitable there where you can vastly increase the chances of Cyber Shock procs firing.

What do you mean pre-cu cybernetic arm? Cybernetic arms came after the cu, as part of ROTW expansion.

Means pre-NGE

Ive heard a couple theories. One being its related to server transfer, the other has something to do with BH only.

Though Ive seen other professions doing it, so it cant be theory #2. If its server transfer, then I dont know.

Its not simply a case of preNGE arms, because if that was true, there would be a whole lot more people doing it.
