Exploit: Perma-cloak on a dark jedi : SWG Premium Discussions

Kinda simple.

Hit forcecloak.
Target someone, than get a wall/obstacle between you and them.
Hit force drain, you'll get 'Can't See Target', and then your cloak will be perma.

Can you give some more detail on this?
Such as:
PvE or PvP
In combat or out

I haven't really had a chance to test it, I just heard it from a friend saying that this was the steps.
I'll try reproducing it again and see what the limitations are. I was told it works with a smuggler cloak too.

Okay, here's more concrete step by step details.
You *MUST* be cloaked either by a smuggler or by using force cloak (May work in Smoke Bomb too).
Make sure your target (PvP or PvE) is in a spot where you'll get a 'can't see target' message (You may have to mouse-over them).
Press an attack key, you'll decloak for a second, get the 'can't see target' flytext, than instantly recloak with full timer.

I got it too work so 100% yay !

I've tried it multiple times and each time was successful great for when you have a gank-squad on you at restuss with the npc's nearby so it's a yay from me

You have to keep reappling the cloak as the timer runs down and you keep flashing in and out?

Our job isn't so much to say whether or not an exploit is good or bad, only whether it works or not.

popping out once behind a wall every 30 seconds and being invisible for the rest of that time, is better than being cloaked for 30 seconds, and than being completely visible until force cloak comes back up?
