Fast ent buff : SWG Premium Discussions

I have no clue if this is known or not (and it isn't worth researching to see if it is) , but it saves me some time, so thought I'd share it in case it isn't widely known.

In short, it's how to repeatedly go to max on an ent buff with only having to stand there watching once.

Ok. I park an ent dancing in the dant MO cantina to buff my other toons.
After getting buffed, I don't hit "stop watching", I just walk over to the SP.
As long as I don't go all the way inside, I never get the "You've stopped watching X because you are out of range" msg. I can open the ship terminal from outside the door, and I can travel to another planet. I've yet to try "launch", just direct travel. On flying back to dant, I can just walk up to my ent, and have it buff me right away. I don't need to start watching again or anything. The system seems to think I've never gone out of range or stopped watching. Cloning sickness just gets cured without needing to do anything on my part, and the buff will be at max'd out time as soon as I hit accept with no waiting for ticks.

It's only been tested with the ent dancing, and only with traveling, not with launching the ship into space. I have let the buffed toon travel off planet, then taken the ent to c'net and back, and started it dancing again, and then brought the buffed toon back, and it still seemed to work.
Logging out long enough for an ent buff to disappear off the buffed toon requires you to watch again though. I haven't tried logging out the ent yet to see how that affects this though. If you get the "you are no longer watching" msg, you have to watch again next time. Don't get it, and you seem to be fine.

Common knowledge. Get ent buff, walk outside, pull ITV before you get the stop watching message.
