Full Armor Protection with only 4 pieces [ripped] : SWG Premium Discussions

Ever get tired of huge stat penalties? Learn how to get a full suit of coverage with only 4 pieces worth of encumbrance!

This is a very simple strategy really, and a classic exploit. Who knows why SOE hasn't noticed and fixed it, but more for us!

To take advantage of this, you must first by these 4 pieces of your favorite armor;

Helmet
Chest
Gloves
Boots
Now simply put them on and go fight things with it!

Sounds crazy doesnt it? No legs? No arms? How do I get a full suits protection out of this?

It apears that this is just another simple bug in the SWG programming. As best my contacts can tell, damage taken in combat is initially defaulted to your chest, and then "directed" to other areas of your body from there. We think this because if you do put on an arm piece, such as a bicep, the entire arm can now be hit! Its as if it assumes you have a full arm of armor if you have the gloves at the end of the arm and at the chest.

Which brings me to the other major point about this exploit...

DO NOT WEAR ANYTHING ELSE!

Thats right go naked from chest to boots and gloves. It looks funny wearing your boxers and a chest plate... but hey, this is about reducing encumbrance.

just can't wear skirts, and those types. That opens up the hole.
