GCW Exploit?? : SWG Premium Discussions

I read this on the SOE Forum. Any comments?
I suspect that it involves a guild have a member of the opposite faction buy bases, place them nearby, and allow guildmates destroy them.

I don't think so: the text says that the exploit 'bypasses' the slicing. If you ask an enemi/guildmate to install a base, yourr team still needs to slice the 5 terms.

At least I think...

So probably it's sthg else.

Still the fight clubbign of what Belhor said will cause it to get nerfed.

Just like FRS.

It used to be someone could have their opposite-faction alt drop a base and then a slice team would slice it. (You HAD to slice the first one.) After that, the alt could drop a base and destroy it using the radial option on the structure management terminal and everyone would get GCW as if it had been sliced. You could rack up GCW as quick as you could drop and destroy a base (many, many an hour).

This was killed a couple of updates ago. (The patch notes said that GCW would no longer be rewarded if the base owner opts to destroy their base.)

So now all bases have to be sliced the proper way to give GCW.

Actually, you never even had to slice the first base you dropped - just drop, destroy, drop, destroy. It was nice while it lasted, though - I like my GCW armor and BARC, lol.
