Jedi 15K heal in 15 seconds... : SWG Premium Discussions

Not submitting for points or anything, but didn't see this here, thought I'd post this for those who haven't seen this yet...

Appearently, jedi can get a little extra heal boost. The cooldown for the lvl 82 heal is 25 seconds... but for the low-lvl heal, it's 15 seconds... so, if you're crafty, you use the 5K low heal early in the fight, then get your 10K heal in 15 seconds... so you get 15K in 15 seconds, vs 20K in 25. Not a huge deal, and not really an exploit (more of a clever use of dev oversight), but interesting tactic.

Nice find. Maybe not an exploit, but certainly a great tip. I never even thought to try it myself.

Anyone else wish to confirm this works?

The level 14 heal has a 15 second timer and heals is 1600 hp
The level 34 heal has a 20 second timer and heals is 5000 hp
The level 58 heal has a 20 second timer and heals is 7000 hp
The level 82 heal has a 25 second timer and heals is 10000 hp

The heals are assuming you have maxed out soothing aura.

All of the heals share a cool down time, so if you use one, no others are available during the current special's cool down.

So you could get 1600 heal and then 15 seconds later get a 10000 heal for 11600 (and you have the 25 second cool down).

The real advantage is if you have Hermetic touch. With this expertise and using the 1.6 heal followed by the 10k heal you can extend your protection from DOT a lot longer. Even better if you have Lasting aura (up to 6 seconds longer).

The only real advantage in using the 7k heal is if your fight will last over 1 minute, where you get 21000 healed verses 20000 with the 10k. So in my view, its not worth it.

Can premium members say yay or nay to this being moved to a confirmed section.

Bah, belhor is right - not sure what happened there. 25K in 45 seconds vs 30K in 50 seconds is okay, might give you an edge in speed of healing... but might not. Thanks for giving us the stats, belhor - makes me wonder why the forums have been in an uproar over this.
