I don't think I have seen this posted yet and have seen a few people asking how people are taking minimal damage in PvP.

I have not tested this but I have heard from several people that this does in fact work.

Here is how it is done:

1. Equip a Jedi robe.
2. Open your inventory and destroy the robe while it is equipped.
3. Equip a second Jedi robe.

I don't think the stats show in your character sheet, but from what I hear you can notice a dramatic decrease in damage taken.

I know that this method does not work, I believe to get it to work you need to go to the server boundary behind HK or the other place in space. From things I've seen it only lets you keep some of the stats not the armor. Now on the other hand I've seen this one Jedi take on 5 Commandos and we were only doing -97 dmg each hit which is really noticable if you ask me. Not sure how he did this but if you are able to do this it's just going to get you reported and a CSR is going to ask you to log out so they can login to your account and examine it.

The link posted a few replies back seems to be the same thing as this but instead of trying to increase the armor value they add stats instead.

As I stated, I personally have never tried this. I have heard a few people talking about this and from what they said this does work. When you delete the first cloak you can see in your character slot that you still have the resist values as if you were still wearing the cloak. Once you put on the second cloak you will not see any armor values increase.

From what I gather the only way to tell if it is working or not is to test it in combat and check out your combat log.

I hear about a few Jedi that are using this on my server and they definately take a LOT less damage than the others...
