Looking for help with reading the chat log : SWG Premium Discussions

I'm planning on writing up a bot program and need to read a players reply to me. Does the info go to the chat log? I open the onlylog I can find in the SWG folder and it only contains login/out info. I turned on the log recorder in-game (/log) but that doesn't seem to write anything to the file I'm looking at. Does anyone have some first hand knowledge on where and how to read the chat log?

Yes it is...getting this done helped me get 99.5% of the way to a fully automated Ent Bot. Once it's working reliably, I'll be posting it.
