So far since buying x I have been playing around in swg a bit trying to record just the simplest of macros like opening my inventory and closing it or running forward then left then right. Whenever I play the macro back it does nothing. Except for the running thing which just moves the mouse around on the screen yet the character does not run. It doesn't seem to be recording keyboard strokes or mouse key's only mouse movement. Any help you guys can give me here?? I really want to get started on macroing my crafting...........

WOuld using win98 have anything to do with it since I have heard others talk about a problem using win ME

try clicking the little box, copy mouse and then click the box copy keystrokes, then click copy keystrokes and mouse. There is a bug, but if you do all three it should work...

Greets ...

I *had* win98se yesterday ... could not get things to work.

Normally when the mouse goes over an icon it "changes states" to something other then an arrow.

When unleashed moved the mouse over an icon it did not change. I deemed this to be some fundemental problem that I was not sure was going to be fixable.

Sooooo ... I took the plunge and purchased WinXpHome. Did my first 50 combines rifle barrel combines with it last night ... till XU went down last night.

Waiting for XU to come up now.

I also was initially using Win98SE and was having problems getting the macros to play back. I am now using WinXP Pro and the macros play back just fine (though I'm still finding that the mouse movements get very jerky when trying to record them.)
So yes, Win98SE has some compatibility issues.

Elitwo, why do you think using the EQ style keymap is hosing us over? I switched to it because the basic one that is a default was designed by blind guttermice on acid. well, thats my opinion anyway :)

I'm having the issue where I get the Macro box up, clicking the little boxes as advised and starting recording....
Then nothing. Its like a sheet of glass drops over my game. I can move my mouse, but I can't click. I get no keyboard input except for the 3 finger salute to get out of there. I cant stop my macro recording. and I can't actually get any info to it.

I ran all 3 DX tests fine, reinstalled to a fresh directory of just the XUnleashed, mius the plugins for everything else rebooted and says prayers to Jabba. othing, I get the same issue.
I am running DirectX 9.0b, I just updated my video drivers and my audio drivers, and checked them thank you :)
I am also running XP, with 1 gig of ram.

Gronga, what plugins do you have installed, and which of those are checked?

I have installed...
xuregistrationhandler class2.7.5.0
XUnleashed triggers
XUnleashed macros version 2.0
XUnleashed windows input service
XUnleashed tcp/ip packet sniffer
XUnleashed dll registration handler
all checked, and thats it.

New problem popped up too. SWG just crashes after I click the magic play button now. But if I do a complete file check it will run.. as long as XUnleashed wasn't used to start it.

I'm going ot delete the uxunleashed folder and start again from scratch and see what happens.

Those kind of bugs are the hardest ones to track down...
