Minor tidbit to help with grind : SWG Premium Discussions

We all know about the quick entertainer grind and the abillity to stack uncompleted Legacy XP until you respec to a combat toon so you can use the combat xp where it will do some good.

The early access for your new combat toon to the Meattlump park was a great idea.

I'd like to refine it a bit. First don't let your Entertainer reach Level 90, before doing the Legacy and Meatlump Park. Leave yourself at Level 89 when you respec to your combat toon. (you can always wait a month for the free respec regeneration to go back to entertainer and get the badge).

This will keep the meatlump park NPC's below Level 66. Before you respec, Do the new extension to Legacy in the Meatlump Park (starts with Hyrakken Bender next to Meatlump king). This quest line was added in Update 10. You will be rewarded with a No-trade Weapon. This weapon has NO Combat Level restrictions and is better than most level 65 weapons. You must complete this quest (npc: Balfur Jahcor) to get the weapon (ensure the 75570 points doesn't put your Ent to Level 90).

After completing all the open combat quests your newly respec'd combat toon should be close to level 45 with a level 65+ carbine (or whichever weapon you chose). You can now do the repeat quests in the Meatlump Park easily. At first you will gain several levels each time.

Below is a guide to the Mini-quest line added in Update 10 that I wrote.


To start the quest you talk to Hraykken Bender, next to the Meatlump King, in the Meatlump Hideout on Corellia.
He sends you to his brother at the Droid Factory on Corellia ( /wp Corellia -7340 -4001 ). Quest name: Revenge at Last.
Missions: Meet with Draykken Bender.
Draykken Bender starts you off on the "Assault on Helper Droid Factory" (this bunker is nearby).
Defeat QU3-3N (/wp -7363 -3872)
Defeat 21 Helper Droids
Quest XP 59142 Credits 7382

Side quest - Talk to C-3PO just inside the bunker next to R2-D2 @ /wp -7308 -3983
Find Helper Droid Interface Units in random locations throughout the bunker
Quest Name: Those Things Last Forever - Credits 6854

Fight him Halfway to talk to him again and get your weapon and finish current quest line.

Nay. Not only is it rehashing information that was already here (level an ent to get early access to things like meatlump, etc.), it's also copying information that is available on the official forums as well as anywhere else (ie the guide to the new legacy/meatlump questline).

Yah, the quest guide is out there, but pointing out it gives a 608dps weapon (the carbine is at least) that has no cl or profession requirements is sweet.
