I just searched and found a nyms with 891 dps 37 acid. Purchased it and it stayed 891 dps 37 acid when it got put into my inventory.

Yes its true, but this isnt an exploit, its simply good news and a good tip. Which is also posted all over the official boards.

They said the nerf wasnt intended. I doubt our old ones will get fixed though.

I bought several 900+ DPS 38 elemental from vendors without issue.

I just baught a 923 dps nyms with 38 acid. Are they going to stay like this or are they going to get nerfed eventually? If its going to get nerfed eventually im probably going to try and sell it.

This is the 3rd time Ive bought nyms this year, due to the old ones being nerfed.

So based on that. I expect all our weapons AND armour to get nerfed with the trader publish.

yea, i had 6 of them in a box and 1 on my char - all nerfed! but i also had 1 in my bank "37 elemental"...
so looks like anything in the bank escapes nerfs like on vendors...

according to the CSRs (so take this with a grain of salt) in the next patch Nyms are supposed to be fixed. It was not intended for their DPS to change.

"Getting back to you on the change in damage to weapons (Nym’s Carbine, some weapons with elemental damage and some others).

Yes there was a change made to a variety of weapons. These changes are intended and the damage is not going to be increased.

This was not noted in the update notes and I apologize for that.

For those that are curious, this was basically an accumulation of minor balance changes (made internally) that have been made over the past few months. When the latest chapter was published and the disabled heavy weapons were re-enabled, all the balance changes were also made.
