Question: AFK Macro'ing : SWG Premium Discussions

My question is regarding running macros afk. I'm trying to grind up an alt with a pet while afk, along with looting junk loot on my second account. The macros work fine when I'm ATK, but when I AFK they don't work. I have a /blink macro setup, and I have afk disabled. What am I doing wrong that these just dump out? Usually happens 15-30 minutes after I walk away.

Also, is there a way to macro so you can look around without something like AutoIt? It seems like other people can target more things in the area than I can with their afk macros.

There are many AFK macro's and such here. Actauly i would say its some of the most common stuff here. Have a look around you will find something

That's the point though, I've looked and nothing helps. I've even gone so far now as to add an /afk macro, to put me afk and back from afk every few minutes. That plus my pet macro, healing macro, blink macro, and as soon as I walk away, usually 15 min and my macros are dead. There has to be a way around this. I've spoken to many people in game, and some people experience this, and some people don't.

I figured out the issue. Both of my accounts were 21 day trials because I just came back to the game. My trial expired yesterday and I subscribed. After doing so, the same afk macros ran for 5 hours last night without an issue.

You guys with the /blink macros. You are basically advertising "Look at me, im AFK macroing", standing in a group of 10 people all blinking every 5 seconds.

You DONT need to use an emote to stop you from going afk. Any macro will do. Even firing your heal every 15 seconds, or using /mood none, or using a pet fetch macro, or using an elder buff macro, or pretty much anything.

Use something discreet and everyone wont know you are AFK. That includes people who come to report you and GMs. It also doesnt spam the spatial window, so you can actually see when someone says something.

Not only that, but those of us that arent AFK dont have to get spammed by your stupid blink emotes.
