Server transfer fix : SWG Premium Discussions

Does anyone know exactly what was fixed regaurding the server transfers? I was thinking of server transferring a character and mainly was wondering if the biolinked items becoming unbiolinked still works. If so, I should get a tuned sunriders to take with me. I already have a few other tuned crystals I could bring along ... was just wondering if its worth having them before I transfer.

Hard to say. I think the server transfer was taken offline because people were "abusing" the unbiolink feature of it to transfer and sell Sunriders & Lavas... so chances are that's actually what they fixed while it was down.[/i]

I belive this might be the case as a guild mate of mine brought over one of his toons from another server with lava's and Sunriders + a crap load of other stuff, alot of stuff like the bio-linked armor was un-linked but the lava's and sunriders where still linked

Thanks for the info. I won't go out of my way to get any more tuned crystals then. The tuned crystal I have now is a twin force crystal cluster, which I was told was a bug to be able to tune in the first place. I wonder what will happen when I transfer it.

You used to be able to dup items, credits, etc. That appears to be what was fixed. At every stage of the transfer process that your toon got logged out by the server, you logged back in. At the last step, the toon would be listed on both servers for a bit. You could log back into a toon on the original server before it was deleted and trade the toons item's, credits, etc. Log out, wait a couple minutes, then log back in. The toon would be only on the new server but still with all items and credits, etc. And, the toon you traded everything too would also have everything as well. I just tried it...would not let me log back into the original toon even though it was still on the character list since last patch.
