hey there,

I noticed that if I apply Heal over Time on myself (medic) and right after I remove it from the buffbar (right clic on the icon) I'm still getting the 540 heal. When I reapply it seems Im getting heal over time faster.

Can ppl try and confirm please?

I couldn't get it to work. Are you using any special jewelry? My medic is a minor alt that I don't often use so he doesn't have anything spectacular on him. Could this be the result of heroics jewelry that speeds the effect up and makes it last longer?

When I tested it, I counted 3 ticks during the cooldown, with a 4th shortly after it was ready to fire again. Tried it with both removing the buff and leaving it in place, and the timing was the same the entire test.

The only thing I can think of that might be doing it is jewelry, AAs, CAs, PUPs, foods, drinks, spices, stims, expertise. However, I doubt expertise has anything to do with it since my medic's expertise is geared completely toward buffs and non-combat. Unless there's something I missed hehe 8)

I tried this out again, with the same results. It doesn't matter if I leave the original bacta infusion in place or if I remove it, reapplying it doesn't seem to increase the rate of heal. Not with my current set up anyway.

You haven't yet said if there is anything you're using, such as clothing, jewelry, food, drinks, spices, powerups, armor or clothing attachments, you name it. I would love to confirm this for you, but I need more information about how to recreate this for it to work.

If all you're worried about is the effect still firing after the buff has been removed, then yes, that works. I guess that's intended though, but I don't much see the point in removing a buff that heals you lol.

I think what he's trying to see is if you can stack HoT's so that after 4-5 times, the heals are firing almost constantly for a period of time, instead of periodically. :)
This would be great if it works. I'll try it out and see what happens today.

ok but... I posted that a year ago. It did seem to work at that time, and a update after, the medic Heal over Time was unable to be removed by right clicking it.

regards
