Stat Editing, is it real? : SWG Premium Discussions

Hello, Yes Im a Noob. 1st post...

(If this has been posted befor I am sorry, I spent 2 hrs looking for something of this matter and have not fonud it yet)

I have seen "programs" and "guides" for sale on Ebay for $100 and at different webites for $14.99 claiming to have a "SWG hack Pack"
eg. Stat Hacker - Buff Hacker - Weapon Damage Hacker

They claim that by using this guide or program you can/will be able to change the client side files to anything.

Sounds dodgy, looks dodgy, therefore....

I couldnt tell you for sure, but I'm not going to go find out lol.

Also from what I hear, you can use any old trainer maker to modifiy those stats, but only client side (Works well with screenshots).

so there is no program or exploit out there to to change your base stats on the server side to give an edge, would this be correct?

I assume that if you changed it on the client side (your computer) when you logged in the server would rewrite any changed files and you would still be S.O.L.

Well by doing what I explained, its really only a visual ui type deal, it doesnt actually affect anything. Though you could make it look as though you had 99999999 on everything for the purpose of a screeny.

I've not heard of any program out there that can essentially put you in god mode. Which is what it would be if you had 9999999 stats. Nothing could stop you, you'd be like Neo, only in SWG

nah I would not want GOD mode per say, just when I run up aginst them people in restuss that are doing something to not take dmg. turn it on or what ever, and just up the anty a little to give an edge, but just a small one. up my stats by 100-150 tops, add 1000-2k to kin and energy protection.

im a lvl 90 commando and I can hold my own aginst 2 some times 3 jedi, Bhs ect. my stats are with elder buff, flameout, musty lair buff, shard of serpent + uping my energy stats 2k with the expertice

Str - 212 Kin - 7k
Con - 647 Eng - 9k
Sta - 328 Heat-Elec - 8K All
Agi - 239
Pre - 273
Luc - 146


But there are some that even though I have 4 to 5 DOTS on them plus my specials (shock tracer, armor crackor ect) I cant even make a dent.

Its these ppl can wipe out a group of a 2 lvl 90 Jedi(elder), lvl 90 medic(elder), 2 lvl 90 commandos (elders) and a lvl 90 spy(elder), and never use there heal after we dump all over them. They may have half to 3/4 life left. This person who wiped out this group I was in was only wearing boots, underwear and a cloak, no pants, shirt, gloves, hat, rings, nothing.

yes we did report them and did not see them again for about a week, but they still take a crap load of damg.

My first impression is that its fake. But then again, like darth tubby said, there are some out there that are next to impossible to take down.

But I have to admit, this is not the first time I've seen that site. A friend of mine told me about it a while ago and mentioned he got his trial account banned from using it. Never gave it a second thought sense then.

Yeah, I got it for free. It is very similar to using cheatengine to hack stats using buffs and freezing them, which pretty much doesn't work or is very hard. This is not just you push a button to raise your stats. Anyways definately not worth your money.

SOE's statistics are stored on SOE's servers. That information is not done client side and the only way to modify those statistics is by sending packets to the server. SOE encrypts their packets, and thus people are unable to have a 'god' mode.

The people in Restuss that don't die are A) Bugged; B) Stacking multi-stated items; or like C) Just good.
