i need some advice im tryin to mod the skills in swg i know i will get banned probly but i dont care i need someone to show me how to do it with swgexplorer if you can or cant ive gone into swgexplorer modded the file skill.iff made a file called skill and put the modded skill in their can someone plz show me what im doin wrong ty

is this an emulator? moved to program discussion.

You would have to modify the skill on everyone's computer to see any effect.

Admin, this isn't an emu, it's a program for modification of gamefiles.

you cant seriously expect to learn how to hack or program from a few paragraphs on a forum can you? people with the ability to do these things hone their skills for years, it cant be explained in a paragraph much less a 900 page book, or even a 10 book set.

I can make my skill window say my strength is 10000...................but that doesn't mean it actually is.

Look up the words client-side and server-side and then try this.

I uploaded the private beta version of SWGExplorer to filefront, as support seems to have stopped for now.

This version allows the opening of TOC index files, so you can modify and extract the current used files past publish 17, which the old version or InsideSWG will not do.

If you want any futher support than that, you will need to go to Register to unlock hidden link and pay a $6 donation for their MultiEx commander and the SWG tre viewer/extractor. Which supports all the current files.
