This poster seems to have stumbled on an exploit to get a pet to 'follow' you without agroing you he said it also works on NPCs, he proves it in the video.

Anyone know how this is done?

I'll check it out. Maybe it has to do with /summon or something.

Id say its a mod, he has replaced a pet or droid with a krayt dragon, and went to the graveyard for the complete effect.

The mod is only client side, so no one else can see it.

Actually its real I saw it on my server

Anyone worked out how this is done yet, I saw the same guy with a giant kimo behind him today

when going thru the command list I found /trainPet but trying to use it only says you don't have enough skill to trainPet....can't figure out anything else

Will have to try and PM them, maybe they'll give out the details..

i know 3 people personally who still have kimos, kryat dragons and rancors as pets from when they where CH's and can call them - i'd say its just as simple as that - old pets...

Actually, nimisis, that wouldn't explain a krayt dragon following someone as a pet because they have never been trainable. Maybe if it was a kimogila or a rancor, like you stated, it could be an old callable pet.

The best explanation I've heard is the mod, but that doesn't explain others being able to see it. I think there probably is a trick to do this. I'm sorry I can't give any insight on how to do it though. =/[/quote]

1. This is NOT a client side modification - It is seen by other players.

2. This is NOT a callable pet, it is attackable by everyone.

I saw someone spawning wild creatures and NPC's in the restuss starport today on Bria server. it is definitely not a mod.

Was that someone a CSR or Dev?

yes the guy who spawned the stuff in bria was a dev he spawned At-ST's and cl 500 DJM's the funny thing was before he left in chat he say "i will now kill you all". check it out on the forums there are pictures there.

I have had it with the Katarn down the Ryatt trial whas doing some looting down there probly 1 year ago and i fought the other animals around him then he sudently came support me and continously followed me where ever i go.
I walked the whole end back to start place and everything what attacked me he supported me whas fun and weird.
