Bank Dupe : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

I have been able to sucessfully dupe a few items on dialup. not all items work with this but some do. Here is how to do it

1. Connect to the lowest speed you can
2. goto your house or a bank
3. open the connection meter thing
4. wait till your at the highest ping
5. put the item in a backpack
6. from the backpack drop the item in the bank or house
7. wala you now have 2 items. This only works on high lagg
such as through a dialup connection.

Not sure if this is posted somewhere else but This worked for me
when i tried to drop something in my house through a backpack on
dialup and i had 2 of them.

lol This is prolly why the dev's didn't put bank terminals near the Restuss Starport.

Nah dude, I wasn't flaming you at all. Keep in mind on every server there are probably several player cities near Restuss. I know that is true since there are two player cities on either side of restuss on my server. One of the cities has a bank. I'm not sure about the other one, but during high activity times, this very likely could work. It likely won't work for me though, since I'm on a cable modem.

The only thing I was saying about Restuss in my last post was that the dev's may have foreseen this and left bank terminals out for that reason. They may not have taken into account player cities hehe

If this works for other people, I hope you get the well-deserved TU bucks!

can you give any specific item you know this works on?

might be possible to do this with by stoping outgoing packets maybe (cf lag hack by eVc).

Also loging 2 or 3 account at time on a slow conexion might work. Im gona try and will let you know asap

Yup, PVP and tons of lag from all the players and action there. Kinda sad how that has to be spelled out in a thread where lag is the key.

What did your connection meter say when you did this?

Has been fixed so a Nay here , it was working and being ueed by some (from what I've heard) who were undercutting the power bit markets offering packs of 50 for pretty darn good prices.

Nay, not all of us are on dial-up.
