everlasting powerups : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

One problem with power-ups is that they expire soon after being applied. Here's a trick to extending the length of power-ups indefinitely. Also, the effects may be stackable, but that will have to be confirmed.

First, apply the power-ups as usual. Pay attention to their timer.

Once they are about to expire you will need to launch into space and stay up there until the power-up timer expires. Don't check your clothes/armor or your character stats, just keep track of how much time was left before launching and do a countdown using a clock/timer, or just guess it.

Once the power-up has expired, homeport/land your ship. The power-up WILL be gone, but it's effects will still be present on your character stats and will not expire until you log out or there is a server reset. So far I have not tried to stack this, but it's nice to know there is an exploit for unending power-up times.
