Get all mision money exploit : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

I discovered this exploit a while back when i was sharnaff hunting with some friends. It lets you get all the mission reward when in a group. Here are the steps:
1)join a group
2)get the missions specified
3)make sure you're mission is up
4)attack the lair and creature spawns normaly
5)get killed when the lair is almost dead
6)you will probably clone and your group HUD says "out of range". It must say "out of range".
7)when the lair is done you will get all the credits if you were the mission owner

First off, can anyone confirm this works? Second off, what would be the point of this? I mean, it sounds great in theory, but if you're looking to say, join the dancer group (+20 people) and you want all the cash, it's still not going to work unless you have 2 accounts, one to grab the mission and die and another one to (assuming you finish off the lair when your respawned far, far away) finish the lair.

Would make more sense to me that way.

this is not really an exploit, just because your in the group you get the creds anyway wether you are there or not, and even so you can take a mission and a random adventurer could be fighting the layer for xp and demolish the site and you get the creds instead of xp so whats the big exploit?
