Ranged Weapon Exploit : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

symptom
The standard Auto-Targeting and Auto-Aiming systems are quite handy with their original intent but they are most useful when using a ranged weapon exploit and I\'ll explain why.

You see the NGE(New Game Enhancements) have added a panic feature in which one can run and frantically fire their pistols, thus effectively making a common pistol into a semi-automatic one, also the NGE adds to the panic feature a bonus in damage dealt to the target. So you do almost double the damage of a precise and non-moving shot.

You can use this panic mode without having to run away and maneuver your mouse frantically trying to aim while running away from your target.

You can find a world object such as a wall or statue, anything you can not walk through and run into it with a strafe key and just fire away without having to run from or towards your target.

But wait, there\'s more!
You can use the already in-game features such as Auto-Aim and Auto-Fire so that all you have to do is keep your character constantly moving around and not have to worry about aiming or even pressing down the mouse button to fire. All you have to do is run towards or away or circle your opponent, so that your character stays in panic mode and fires rapidly without needing your guidance.(Cool Huh!? )

you can find out how to enable both the Auto-Aim and Auto-Fire features here: Register to unlock hidden link
Keep in mind, panic mode is only for ranged weapons such as Blasters, Bowcasters and the like. Melee weapons do not work with panic mode!

P.S. to the TaultAdmin.....I am only requesting access to the Ultima Online section

I'm wondering if this is just a graphical thing, rather than an actual damage increase thing. I will test it out tonight.
