SWG Exploit: Un-bio-link your lava/elder/sunriders and so on : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

transfered 3 more sunnys and 2 lavas tonight

vague reports are coming in that patch 4.3 fixed this. I was getting ready to do a transfer the next few days but if its fixed then no need... anybody try it or heard anything since this morning?

still works jsut tested it jan 5th 12:28 am got 4 tuned sunnys this time haha

woot tested again 10 sunnys 3 lava

tried a transfer today and crystals did not untune!

cant confirm a nerf jsut confirming that it did not work this time its worked all outher 6 or so times though

but i got one more toon to trasnfer so ill confirm a nerf if it dosent work for me 2 times

I did notice the mods were locking these threads in the trade forums.

i can confirm this is nerfed tried again no go duno if you gona get any one else to test due to it costing 50bucks but its nerfed for me on 2 tries

also suspensions are being handed out for this some one on my regular forums is posting he seen my name on here so watch out peeps we gota snitch in the mits of us

Can another premium member confirm this to be nerfed as well.

i also can confiurm that they are doing some investigation about this one of my test acocunts is now suspended and they took all the sunny's out his house that were on display also all the mods on hte forums are locking the post or deleting them when ppl ask for tuned sunriders seems like they are jsut trying to cover this one up not trying to make a pubplic post about it or a fix lol

OK my suspension is up and the end report is im permabaned from all soe games glad it was my test/mule acocunt i pay for with game cards lol anyways they are now logging trasnfers and if u trasnfer sunnys be prepared to be baned they take this very seriously according to the lead gm i talked to

so this is indeed nerfed

(the account i used had never had any previous disaplinary actions on it so but they said i trasnfered a total of 25sunnys lol here ill go get the emai and post it)

Hi ********, this is Senior GM Gourney with SOE Customer Service.

You were suspended for
mis-using the character transfer service, and taking advantage of an
anomaly with the Sunrider's Destiny to re-sell 24 tuned crystals. (which
became untuned as a result of the transfer.) In this case, you
knowingly took crystals which were tuned to people, and manipulated the system
to re-sell these to other players on other servers. This is an
exploit, and a serious one and is a clear violation of our Community
Standards policy, echoed here:

12. You will not exploit any bug in Star Wars Galaxies, and you will
not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug either directly
or through public posting, to any other Sony Station member. You will
promptly report such bugs via the /bug command in-game or by emailing
SWGSupport@soe.sony.com. Exploitable bugs include, but are not limited
to bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits in-game.

Exploitation of bugs within the game will result in disciplinary action
being taken against the account that may include official warnings,
account suspensions, or account terminations depending on the severity or
repetitiveness of these incidents which will be determined by a CSR and
a CSR Supervisor. Multiple suspensions or account termination will
result in the termination of all SOE game accounts.

After looking over the account history and its recent events, we will
not be releasing this account from its suspension, and the account is
going to be reviewed for termination due to the repeated and severe
nature of these violations.

this does work 4 the tuned crystals, so try to stack up on them, so yay

The character transfer service is gone from what I understand, for now anyway.

I did always hate people who did this, so I can't say I am upset by SOE's action.

Server transfers have been down since March 16th, maybe they're trying to patch stuff like this?
